Monday evening, October 13 2014, church members from various congregations and several volunteers who have made this home possible gathered together at the Free Indeed Home for an evening of fellowship, celebration, and prayer. Special thanks were given to several people who have spent hundreds of hours renovating the home and encouraging staff and working to accomplish all that is required for this home to open. We are truly grateful for the role that each person has played in this process. This was a special night to dedicate this home to the Lord, who is the center of everything that is the Free Indeed Home.
Sunday evening, October 12 2014 we were fortunate to have an Open House where several community members were able to come see the Free Indeed Home in person, see where their donations have gone, and get a first hand glimpse into what the home will offer the girls upon opening. This was a time where the LACAHT staff was delighted to see the number of men and women in this area who are in support of this home and this mission. We thank each person who was able to attend and who contributed to this night. One of our hopes is that every individual in attendance was encouraged by the home and left with more insight not just into the horrors and reality of domestic minor sex trafficking, but also with the hope that we can bond together to defeat this evil and that the opening of this home is one way to work towards that goal.
